The Connolly Flannel Oxford Bag Trousers are a classic yet re-designed "Oxford Bag", worn higher on the waist but with a lower rise, creating a fluid fit with a wide legged silhouette, historically worn by Oxford rowers over their rowing shorts. Our version has been cut from a fine Italian 130's Virgin Wool Flannel, in a subtle overcheck design.

Unlined, with a wide straight hem, the trousers feature two deep pleats from the waist that fall into the front main pleat, a crossed belt loop detailing, and adjustable tabs, allowing them to be worn more formally high on the waist or lower for casual ease.

Size up for the option to wear lower on the waist, and use the adjustable tabs to modify and wear higher on the waist. These trousers also feature a seam allowance in the back, allowing them  to be tailored precisely to your shape.
